All tracks on this record have been composed as a part of the ROOTS 2017 artistic residence, a LAC - Laboratório de Actividades Criativas project ( www.lac.org.pt/projectos/detalhe/roots-2017-lagos_14546 ) approaching the slavery issue through a contemporary lens, generating new routes and transcultural flows. All recording was made live at a public performance with the dancer El Conguito ( elconguito.wixsite.com/conguitobailaor ), at Galeria LAR, on the 18th of november, 2017.
